- My Support Loop has created an Infectious Response Team that is readily available for our participants. This team is able to maintain support within the home during isolation or a positive case of COVID-19 or any other infectious disease.
- My Support Loop has developed a set of guidelines and precautions for every support worker to maintain while supporting the community.
- All support team member has COVID-19 infection control training from the Department of Health and are up to date with current Influenza Immunisation as well as COVID-19 immunisation.
- Developed additional safety precautions for support workers working with confirmed or at-risk cases. These precautions are based on providing support where there is a confirmed or at-risk case of COVID-19.
- My Support Loop has maintained and developed policies that communicate and imply intention of setting expectations about how our support teams should manage the risk of contracting and spreading coronavirus (COVID-19).
- We all have a duty of care to ourselves and the people we support to take reasonable care of our own health and safety and to not adversely affect the health and safety of others.

- Developed resources to help you transition to remote or indirect support
- Provided information and training for all support teams on how to use and maintain PPE . We will also maintain our PPE kits at our supports homes to maintain all safety for everyone.
- The safety of our community is very important to us. We want to ensure that people with disability receive the support they need from Support Workers who are supported to keep safe. If you have any concerns, please contact My Support Loop.
- My Support Loop will continually monitor relevant information sources and update our policies as required. By following the recommendations, from the Australian Government, and the World Health Organization's guidelines.
